We offer benefits as well as 401k.Position Details:Title: Quality Control InspectorPosition Type: 1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business needJob Location : Pompano Beach, FLShift: 2nd Shift  2PM-10:30PMBenefits : 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision InsuranceCompensation: $27Responsibilities Perform inspections of finished goods, components, incoming raw materials, or new products by observing, measuring, and recording data.Compare inspection results to defined requirements or specifications and document differences.Make accept/reject decisions based on established guidelines and documented procedures.Ensure sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.Perform in-process testing and identify out-of-specification product.Ensure proper disposition of defective product.Provide technical support to quality, quality engineering, and product support.Train new and existing employees as required and review work of others.Support high-priority site projects.Participate in internal and external audits as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for incoming inspection processes.Possess strong skills in conflict resolution, change management, communication (written and verbal), organizational management, business ethics, and analytical reasoning.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a diverse cross-functional environment.Work occasional overtime as required.Physical Demands (Light Level): Close visual acuity.Occasional repetitive hand movements.Occasional lifting of 10-35 lbs.Occasional use of power jack.Occasional pushing and pulling.QualificationsRequired Skills: High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years' experience, OR an Associate's degree with 1 year of experience, OR a Bachelor's degree, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, and to prioritize in a changing business environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on tasks for long periods.Effective communication skills and a sense of urgency to meet production schedules.Accepts personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Commitment to a safe work environment and accountability for personal and team safety.Preferred Skills: Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, cGMPs, and ISO 9001 standards.Knowledge of Quality Information Systems (e.g., Windchill, SAP).Apply Today!On-Board was founded in 1976 by Robert L.
