VP, Core Systems ManagerIf the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.Location: Roseville, CAJob Type: Full-timePosition Overview:The VP, Core Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of the Bank's core banking platforms, including the Fiserv DNA core banking system, Q2 online and mobile banking solutions, and related peripheral systems. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, effective project management, and technical expertise to ensure seamless banking operations and system reliability.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage, maintain, and optimize core banking systems, ensuring robust performance, security, and user satisfaction.Lead system implementations, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.Develop and execute project plans based on input from business units and technical teams.Document projects comprehensively and maintain clear records of system configurations and changes.Customize and configure the core banking system to fulfill business requirements and adhere to regulatory compliance.Act as primary liaison with core system vendors, managing system enhancements, troubleshooting, and validating system changes.Conduct regular audits of system configurations, user roles, and permissions to ensure accuracy and adherence to change management protocols.Generate complex reports and data analyses to support various business units.Interface directly with auditors and regulatory examiners, providing required documentation and validation of system controls.Provide technical support to end-users and coordinate with vendors to resolve complex system issues.Oversee integration of third-party applications and services with the core banking platforms.Lead efforts related to system upgrades, migrations, testing, and validation across multiple test environments.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting clients, maintaining high standards of service reliability.Engage in continuous professional development, including participation in Fiserv DNA training, user communities, and industry forums.Supervisory Responsibilities:This role includes supervisory duties, overseeing at least one analyst with potential responsibility for a broader team.Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development guidance to team members.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or analyzing core banking systems.Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience combining core banking system administration and business management.Relevant project management certification (PMP or equivalent) strongly preferred.Proven ability to analyze complex, unique issues and collaboratively devise solutions.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage internal teams and external stakeholders.Comprehensive knowledge of system security protocols and best practices in banking operations.Strong foundational knowledge of core banking platforms, system integration processes, and operational workflows.Proficiency with MS Project or equivalent project management tools.Ability to consistently meet scheduled work hours and maintain regular attendance.Compliance:Ensures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
