Shipping/Receiving Assistant

Company in Magnolia Tx is seeking a Shipping and Receiving AssistantAll potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00AM-5:30PMFridays as needed(must be available to work on Fridays)Temp to HireJOB DUTIES:Ensure accurate and timely shipments to customersReview shipping schedules/due dates to ensure deadlines are metCount and package parts securely for shipmentCount, verify, and inspect incoming shipments from vendorsDistribute received materials to appropriate departments in WarehouseAssist in ensuring that parts are moving through all S/R departments' efficiently; Machine shop, trimming, QCAssist S/R supervisor with other duties as neededMaintain adequate levels of shipping supplies and other warehouse suppliesMaintain a clean and safe work area at all timesREQUIREMENTS:Excellent Attendance a must2+ yrs Shipping and Receiving experienceForklift experience a plusLift/Carry up to 50 lbsWalk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/dayWork well in a team environmentGood communicationFollow guidelines & proceduresAttentive to detailReliable transportationHigh School diploma or equivalentPre-employment drug and background screeningA local Plastic Company in Magnolia, Texas is searching for a Shipping and Receiving Assistant to support the company's daily activities.
