We are seeking for a full-time Assistant Community Manager for a residential apartment communities located in Portsmouth, VA (Sterling King/Crawford House). The ideal candidate will have experience with Yardi software and be able to assist the Community Manager in all aspects of property management.Responsibilities include:Providing excellent customer serviceAssisting in the day-to-day operations of the communityAssist with leasing and move-in/move-out proceduresCollecting/posting of rentsCollection of delinquent rentsCoordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractorsRespond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional mannerPreparation of suit listsMonthly close outMaintaining accurate records & filesMarketing/ OutreachAssist with budget/ financial reportingQualifications/ Skills:Prior leasing/ sales experienceExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to multitask and prioritizeProfessional appearanceAttention to detail and accuracyExperience with Yardi softwareAbility to work weekendsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAt Donaldson, our mission is to provide peace-of-mind in every interaction by being faithful to our values and creating successful partnerships.
