The Associate will assist in all aspects of trial and case development. Excellent research, writing and communication skills are required. We will consider applicants with 1- 2 years of experience and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.*Requirements** Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.* Admission to and in good standing with Virginia State Bar.* Strong knowledge of litigation processes and experience in legal drafting.* Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.* Excellent writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.* Prior experience or coursework in civil litigation, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, environmental law, or workers' compensation law is preferred.* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.* Resume and a substantive writing sample required.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time offExperience:* Litigation: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* License with the Virginia Bar (Required)Ability to Commute:* Virginia Beach, VA 23462 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Virginia Beach, VA 23462: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
