We prioritize service after the sale because we want to ensure our security solutions exceed our customer's expectations, not just for today, but for years to come.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Position SummaryThe Prefabrication Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, and preparing components and materials in a controlled shop environment before they are deployed to customer sites. This role supports field installation teams by ensuring prefabricated assemblies meet quality, safety, and compliance standards, ultimately improving efficiency and accuracy in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, wire, label, and package prefabricated materials, panels, and components according to drawings, specifications, and work orders.Maintain organization of the prefab shop, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are kept in safe working order.Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to confirm accuracy and compliance with company standards and industry codes.Assist with material inventory management, pulling stock, and kitting project orders.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to resolve build or design issues.Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies while operating tools, lifts, and other shop equipment.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase prefab efficiency and reduce waste.QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent.1+ year of experience in assembly, fabrication, electrical, or low-voltage work (can include technical school or apprenticeship).Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Comfortable using hand and power tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.Preferred:Experience in construction trades, low-voltage, electrical, fire protection, or security systems.Forklift certification or ability to become certified.Familiarity with lean manufacturing or prefab assembly practices.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.Standing, bending, and repetitive motions for extended periods.Work performed in a warehouse/shop environment with moderate noise.PIb1b03f15536f-36310-38616057
