This role is critical to ensuring the proper functionality, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems that are vital to plant performance and safety.Key Responsibilities: • Perform installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of I&C equipment and systems. • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, loop diagrams, and equipment manuals. • Conduct system diagnostics and resolve equipment issues to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance. • Work in accordance with nuclear safety procedures, plant guidelines, and industry regulations (NRC, INPO, etc.). • Support outage activities, modifications, and upgrades to I&C systems. • Document work activities clearly and accurately using plant procedures and maintenance systems (e.g., work orders, test records). • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and other maintenance teams.Qualifications: • Associate degree or equivalent military or technical training in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in I&C work, preferably in a nuclear or highly regulated industrial environment. • Strong understanding of control systems, PLCs, transmitters, sensors, and calibration tools. • Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear facility (including background checks and drug screening). • Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and support outage schedules as needed. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and procedural compliance.Preferred: • Previous nuclear I&C experience or completion of a nuclear technician training program. • Familiarity with EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management Systems) such as Maximo or SAPEOE of Minorities / Females / Vets / Disability.
