About the RoleWe're seeking an enthusiastic Operations Admin Associate to join our growing education services startup. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, "whatever it takes" environment and wants to make a real impact supporting educators nationwide. You'll serve as our front-line support hero, helping teachers and school administrators while gaining valuable experience across multiple operational disciplines.Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.What You'll DoHelp Desk Support (50% of role):• Provide first-line technical support via Zendesk ticketing system and live chat• Assist teachers and school administrators with software troubleshooting andtechnical questions• Fielding approximately 20 support tickets daily, at times heavier during peakseasons• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate team members• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and resolutionsAdministrative Support (50% of role):• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records across multiple systems• Support project management activities and logistical tracking• Handle correspondence with internal teams and external partners• Complete tasks as assigned across IT, project management, and general operations• Assist with various operational initiatives as the company scalesWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Proficiency with standard office software suites (Microsoft Office, GoogleWorkspace)• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to code-switch communication style based on audience needs• High level of empathy when working with frustrated or confused users• Critical thinking skills and ability to problem-solve on the fly• Comfort learning new software and processes quicklyPreferred Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree• Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk preferred)• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello)• Previous customer service or technical support experience• Understanding of basic IT troubleshooting principlesEssential Soft Skills:• Patience and empathy when supporting users with varying technical skill levels• Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing startup environment• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Team player mentality with a "whatever it takes" attitude• Ability to remain calm under pressure during peak support periodsWhat We Offer:• Competitive starting annual salary of $40,000.00• Available benefits - medical, dental, PTO, and 401k w/match• Comprehensive training program to set you up for success• Opportunity to grow within a scaling company• Direct mentorship and oversight from experienced operations team members• Chance to make a meaningful impact in the education sectorOur TeamYou'll be joining a core operations team of 6 dedicated professionals, with 4 team members based in your office location.
