The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall productivity and quality of the dieboards and will oversee multiple activities simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be mechanical, possess experience in lean manufacturing principles and have a proven track record in problem-solving disciplines.The Position:The role of the Production Supervisor is to lead the 1st shift personnel in meeting daily, weekly and monthly production targets; scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; resolving problems; and reporting results to management.Candidate Requirements:Business-related degree and 3-5 years' experience in a production or manufacturing setting; wood industry preferredFamiliar with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniquesExperienced with LEAN manufacturingUnderstands the importance and impact of small detailsCan identify problems and come up with solutionsWorks well on a team and knows how to pitch in when things need to get done; takes and gives feedback to improve team dynamicsProven leadership experience and skillsProven safety record in production environmentWell versed in relevant software (i.e., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, NetSuite or another ERP system and other company utilized software and/or technology platforms)The benefits package includes competitive compensation, excellent health insurance with high employer cost sharing, paid time off with additional paid holidays, 401(k) employer match, access to a Success Coach and three-day weekends!
