This role is 25-30+ hours per week (with the potential to increase to full-time) and is fully remote, with preference for candidates based in the Washington, DC area for occasional in-person duties.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They must exercise discretion with sensitive information and demonstrate a commitment to disability equity and justice.Key Responsibilities of the Executive AssistantProvide executive support, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel coordination, and expense reportingTrack organizational tasks and projects to ensure deadlines are met and goals are achievedSupport communication efforts, including email correspondence, social media, newsletters, and website updatesAssist with planning, preparing, and hosting online meetings, webinars, and events; take notes and prepare minutesMaintain and organize digital files, spreadsheets, and recordsProcess invoices, donations, receipts, and assist with bookkeeping and budget trackingProvide logistical support for occasional in-person programs and eventsSupport accessibility in documentation and communications for individuals with disabilitiesHandle general inquiries via phone, email, and other channelsProvide light IT/computer support to staff as neededPerform other administrative duties as assignedQualifications of the Executive Assistant3+ years of administrative experience supporting senior leadershipExceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsStrong communication, writing, and editing abilitiesAbility to prioritize, manage, and complete tasks independently and collaborativelyHigh level of professionalism and discretion with confidential informationProficiency with office productivity tools and the ability to learn new systems quicklyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work respectfully with diverse colleagues and communitiesCommitment to the mission of advancing disability rights and equity
