Employbridge is seeking skilled Fabrication Welders to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform welding and fabrication operations essential to the production of heavy equipment and machinery. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, and hands-on fabrication skills are encouraged to apply.Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.ResponsibilitiesPerform fabrication operations such as loading/unloading parts, grinding, scraping, and preparing fabricationsOperate fabrication fixtures, press brakes, and related equipmentPerform semi-automatic GMAW (MIG), TIG, and Shielded Metal Arc weldingApply problem-solving tools and techniques to eliminate defectsOperate grinders, bending presses, lasers, welding machines, and hand toolsFollow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPEMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of fabrication, welding, or related experienceAbility to pass a weld testFlexibility to work weekends, overtime, and rotating shifts as requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, standing for extended periods)Preferred QualificationsWelding certification or degree in welding technology5+ years of fabrication or welding experienceExperience in heavy equipment manufacturingKey Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processesAbility to interpret schematics and fabrication drawingsStrong attention to detail and quality standardsEffective communication and problem-solving skillsFlexibility and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsPay: $23.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential (2nd shift)Overtime opportunities availableLong-term career growth potential with EmploybridgeHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off
