Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.· Maintenance Oversight: Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and availability. This includes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and quick responses to equipment failure.· Team Management: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians. Assign task, provide guidance, ensure that all team members are well-trained and adhere to safety standards and company protocol. Grow team skills to meet changing demands. Mentor individual growth ...· Budget Management: Create and manage the maintenance budget. This includes forecasting cost of repairs, spare parts, maintenance programs and capital expenditures.· Process Improvement: Analyze maintenance processes and work to improve efficiency and effectiveness, potentially through the implementation of new technologies or methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Predictive Maintenance.· Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any relevant data to help inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. Utilize Company systems such as EAM, SharePoint, Qlik, Oracle to maximize efforts and consolidate information.· Collaboration: Work closely and in a positive manner with production manager, engineering manager, facilities maintenance and other stakeholders to minimize downtime and ensure that production goals are met. Ensure team members embrace a positive collaborative environment with production and engineering teams to meet production goals.· Inventory and Parts Management: Ensure that the necessary spare parts and inventory items are available and properly organized to support maintenance and repair activities efficiently. Activities include maintaining accurate records to prevent shortages and overstocks, sourcing and purchasing right parts and materials, forecasting demand, organizing and securing storage, quality control of parts, cost management, recordkeeping, preventative maintenance support. · Contractor Management: Oversee contractor management processes, including selection, onboarding, compliance, performance monitoring, and safety assurance to ensure alignment with company standards and project goals.· Compliance: Ensure that maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as OSHA, OSHA Bakery Standards, Ammonia, Refrigeration, etc.· Training and Development: Identify training needs for the maintenance team and coordinate training sessions to enhance technical skills, capabilities and knowledge.Supervisor Responsibilities:Leadership and Guidance: Provide direction, support, and motivations to team members. Lead by example and create a positive work environment.Performance Management: Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and set individual and team goals.Task Delegation: Assign tasks based on team members' strengths and competencies, ensuring a fair distribution of workload.Conflict Resolution: Address and mediate conflicts or issues that arise among team members, fostering a cooperative team dynamic.Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with team members and other departments. Share important information and updates relevant to the team's work.Compliance and Standards: Ensure that the team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Promote safety and ethical standards.Team Building: Foster collaboration and teamwork through team-building and activities and initiatives that strengthen relationships among team members.Resources Management: Oversee the allocation and use of resources (e.g. time, budget, equipment) effectively to achieve team goals.Reporting and Documentation: Keep records of team activities, performance data, and incidents as necessary. A.) in production engineering, product engineering, manufacturing engineering · Five years of leadership experience preferably in industrial/manufacturing processes and equipmentCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:· Valid Passport book or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.Qualifications and Skills: · Knowledge of the following software: Design, Enterprise Asset Management, Budgeting, Predictive Analysis, Microsoft Office, etc.; · Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery, understanding of automation systems, and familiarity with maintenance management software. · Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical problems, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively· Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and practices related to maintenance and manufacturing· Project Management: Skills in managing projects, timelines, and resources effectively, often required in maintenance and engineering roles
