Our vision is to maintain our leadership in the marketplace through quality service, education, community outreach, and continued growth.The RoleWe are seeking a compassionate, professional Funeral Director to join our team. This role provides guidance and care to families during times of loss, ensuring every service is carried out with dignity and excellence. The Funeral Director plans, coordinates, and directs funeral and memorial services while ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesMeet with families to plan and arrange funeral, memorial, and burial servicesDirect and oversee services from start to finishCoordinate with clergy, celebrants, and other participantsComplete required documentation, including death certificates and permitsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsPerform embalming, dressing, cosmetology, casketing, and transportation of decedentsProvide general care and maintenance of facilities and equipmentRepresent O'Halloran & Murphy with professionalism and integrity in the communityMay supervise designated functions or staff as assignedQualificationsLicensed Funeral Director in Minnesota, or ability to obtain licensureDegree in Mortuary Science from an accredited programMinimum of 3 years of licensed funeral director experienceStrong knowledge of funeral service practices and state regulationsValid driver's license with clean driving recordExcellent communication skills with compassion and empathyCompensation and BenefitsSalary starting at $65,000 annually, based on experienceBenefits package availableOpportunity to serve families across the St. Paul, Roseville, and Woodbury communitiesHow to ApplySend your resume and a brief cover letter to Ailee Nelson at careers@.
