Experience with the Metric system required. Read and understand digital and analog measuring tools. Manufacturing new and replacement parts for various kinds of equipment, using manually and CNC controlled machines, such as lathe, milling machines, Drill Press. Ability to trim and fit components with using hand tools (such as die grinder, files, stones etc.) and experience in working with pneumatics, hydraulics and basic electrical.Major Responsibilities/Activities (either individual or through subordinates):Complies with all policies set in place and future policiesAbility to evaluate and calculate necessary machining cutting-speedsDexterity and ability to hand and custom fit small componentsLifting possibility of up to 50lbsAble to work with minimal direct supervision *Attention To Detail*Knowledge and skills requirements:Basic Math along with trigonometryBasic Computer SkillsAny Gauging and MeasuringWell established mechanical comprehensionForklift, Pallet Jack / Part Handling with overhead CranesReading and working from engineering drawingsEducation and Work Experience:GED/High School DiplomaWork Experience (min. 3-5 years in relatable field)Minimum Requirements:Quality AwarenessManufacturing ExperienceWell-established mechanical comprehensionBasic comprehension of controls and sensorsComputer SkillsEssential Mental Functions:Good Hand/Eye coordination, Communication Skills, Basic Mathematical SkillsEssential Physical Functions:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Equipment Used: Machinery, Hand tools, lifting equipmentAdditional Comments: Steel-toed shoes required.
