Insight Global is actively seeking Assemblers in the Hampton, VA area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for individuals with a background in electronic assembly.Night shift 2:15pm - 12:45amIncrease your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Day to Day Responsibilities:The Assembly Operator will operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. They will be responsible for the testing of electronics/mechanical parts during the assembly process.Qualifications:- 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment- Electrical assembly experience- Wire Soldering experience- Experience using micrometers, calipers, oscilloscope, digital multimeters, and other hand tools- Experience using a microscope- Electrical troubleshooting experience- High school diploma or GED.Compensation:$23.10/hr for day shift Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.-Benefit packages for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as additional benefits.
