Speaking of culture, be sure to check out the CREED section of our careers page: Position SummaryThe Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the administration and coordination of Pan Glo Transport/Services' commercial motor vehicles and drivers. Ensures that the company(s) and drivers maintain compliance with the DOT as it relates to the fleet. Assist in the management of projects relating to the transportation fleet department. The Assistant Fleet Administrator will also manage the finances and paperwork associated with transportation services. They keep track of the various expenses like fuel and salaries, evaluate the total budget of the operation, and keep track of the everyday functions of the company's transportation.Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Audit Driver Compliance against Federal DOT regulationsFile IFTA, UCR, SCAC, MCS-150File state highway taxes for AR, NY, NM, CT, and KYChecks the income and expense accounts and tallies balance sheetsOversee all employee logs for consistency and accuracy, differentiating between authorized and unauthorized documentsChecks the validity of invoices and other documentsAssist with all driver compliance and hiringManage all DQ files and onboarding for driversAssist drivers and plants with all electronic and Electronic Logging Device-related issues (Motive preferred)Maintain all Driver Qualification files and other appropriate records for all DOT-regulated employees at the affected plant locations.Ensure Driver Qualification files are complete and updated as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations.Assist with maintaining insurance compliance on all company vehicles and driversMaintain and provide monthly mileage reportsMaintain and audit all daily trip reports and receiptsQualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:Experience in fleet compliance, logistics, and transportation businessA sound knowledge of the financial matters associated with transportationAn eye for details to see through documents and ensure their validityMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).Compliance (HOS) and DQ TrainingAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrentlyExperience with federal DOT and auditing practicesGood communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with management, workers, and customersGreat collaboration and teamwork with all locations involvedAbility to train key stakeholders on DOT-related issuesStrong knowledge and understanding of paperless office practicesAbility to interact with government agencies at a high level and disseminate critical information to stakeholdersExcellent ability to multitask and work under time constraintsExcellent ability to manage, organize, and coordinate the resources of the companyThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
