We're proud to partner with one of the most respected Vault 100 law firms headquartered in New York City, currently seeking a sharp, reliable, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for their Washington, DC office.Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.This is a fantastic opportunity to support high-level legal professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with exposure to complex legal matters and firmwide operations.About the Role:Reporting to the Director of Executive and Administrative Assistants, this role will partner closely with team members across multiple offices, including New York. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, high-performing environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage correspondence between team members, vendors, and clientsAnswer and direct incoming calls professionallySchedule meetings and appointmentsPrepare and format documents and reportsMaintain and update spreadsheetsPrepare invoices and verify supporting documentationSubmit expense reports and reconcile receiptsSupport attorney timekeeping entriesCoordinate meetings, food orders, and tech support when neededAssist with small event planning and team dinnersQualifications:Must have current law firm experienceProven ability to build trust and strong working relationships across all levelsStrong administrative and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detailSelf-starter who thrives in a collaborative team settingCalm, professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentialityFlexibility to adapt to shifting prioritiesProficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systemsPreferred (but not required):Experience with billing systemsSchedule:This is a hybrid role with an expectation of a minimum of 3 days in the office per week. Flexibility may be required based on business needs.
