AWS/CES is looking for several Airframe and Powerplant MechanicsBelow, you will find a complete breakdown of everything required of potential candidates, as well as how to apply Good luck.Location: Pompano Beach, FLPay-rate: $35 - $38/hr (more depending on Experience)Temp-to-Perm positionMust be licensedAbout the Role:We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented A&P Mechanic to join our client's team. In this role, you'll perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on single-engine aircraft.What You'll Do:Use FAA-approved technical data (IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc.)Perform repairs and modifications on airframe, powerplant, and propeller systemsRemove, disassemble, install, and test aircraft parts and systemsConduct routine inspections and troubleshoot aircraft systemsOperate power tools and necessary equipmentMaintain accurate records per Repair Station and Quality Control ManualsRecord time worked on aircraft work ordersInterpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprintsCommunicate professionally with customers and team membersKeep work areas clean and organizedTow and park aircraftSupport general shop duties (sweeping, mopping, cleaning, etc.)Perform lifting (up to 50 lbs), kneeling, bending, climbing, and working at heightsTravel occasionally as neededWhat We're Looking For:High School Diploma or GEDMust be A&P certified3 years experience minimum with small engine aircraftStrong basic computer and communication skillsMust have your own toolsValid U.S. Driver's LicenseMust pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkInspection certification is a strong plusPreferred experience with small aircraft such as single-engine airplanes.If interested, please send your resume to anam@
