Test Specialist (Instrumentation Technician)Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.Location: Greenville, SC 29615Duration: 18 month contractSchedule: M-F, 7am-4pm, up to 50% travelPay: Up to $30/hourBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KRequired:Associate's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering3+ years of relevant experienceExperience in execution of industrial equipment tests.Familiar with testing equipment.Documents test results per ISO procedures.Support set up and facility trouble shooting as required.Configures, operates, and maintains instrumentation and data acquisition systems utilized by development laboratory.Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Lab View etc.)Able to work independently with minimal guidanceWilling to travel 50% (domestically and internationally)Overview:Install and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment for turbine testingRun efficiency tests at customer sitesCoordinate with manufacturing and vendors on instrumentation assemblyCollaborate on design and application of instrumentation for gas turbine hardwareManage validation projects and review budgets, schedules, and drawingsInstall cables in cable traysPack, ship, and set up test equipmentCompensation:$25/hr to $30/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
