Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:RN - CVICUJob Details:• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AMWant to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.• 13-week contract assignment• CVICU/ECMO/Critical care experience required• No call requirements• Weekend commitment: 6 weekend shifts per schedule for night shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)• Maintain 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratios• Experience required with cardiac monitoring and rhythms• Experience required with titratable drips• Must understand hemodynamics• Experience required with respiratory patients including vents, BiPAP, trachs, and Airvo• Experience required with open heart surgery recovery• Experience required with ECMO, Impella, and balloon pumps• Experience required with CRRT/SLED• CVICU charge experience preferred• Work with equipment including GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, and Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps• Use Meditech EMR system• Assist with procedures including central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubation• Navy scrubs required• Must be a team player with positive attitude and adaptabilityFacility:This healthcare facility features an 8-bed CVICU on the 4th floor with a dedicated team of 25 staff members.
