Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:RN - PCUJob Details:• Work in a 33-bed Progressive Care Unit (5T PCU)In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.• Patient ratios of 3:1 to 4:1• 36 hours per week schedule with every other weekend requirement• Must be willing to float as first to float policy• Documentation system: Meditech• Unit secretaries available Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM• Nurse extern availability at times• Must have experience with post-operative CABG patients, vascular and general cardiac patient population• Must have knowledge of cardiac drips/titrations and electrolyte replacement• Must have experience managing chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and TR bands• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS• Dress code: Galaxy blue, red, or black scrubs• Focus on patient experience including pain management, communication, and responsiveness• Will fill in scheduling needs as required• Unit guidelines and policies provided on orientation dayFacility:This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides advanced cardiac and cardiovascular services.
