Arlon EMD Specialty Materials is a leader in high-performance thermoset substrates used in critical electronic, industrial, and military applications.Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a key liaison between ARLON EMD and its customers, ensuring accurate order processing, clear communication, and responsive support. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, handling inquiries via phone, email, and online portals.Provide product information, pricing, availability, lead times, and order status updates.Proactively communicate order delays, shipping changes, or production updates to customers.Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner using ARLON's ERP systemsReview customer orders for accuracy, including terms, pricing, part numbers, and delivery dates.Coordinate with planning, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.Maintain accurate customer records, order history, and communications in the CRM system.Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.Suggest process improvements to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Minimum of one to three years related experience and/or training.Typing and basic computer skills necessary.Microsoft, Outlook, Excel Knowledge strongly preferred.Must be able to prioritize daily tasks and perform in consistent and reliable manner.Must be able to read and comprehend written materials.Must have good verbal and written communication skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
