The company has been around for decades and is known for its close-knit culture, open-door leadership, and commitment to employee development.This position is ideal for someone who wants to get out in the field, work hands-on with custom industrial systems, and continue building their technical skillset through structured training and mentorship.What You'll DoTravel to customer sites (70-80% travel, mostly domestic) for installation, startup, commissioning, and service of industrial systems.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on custom equipment including fans, blowers, burners, valves, and controls.Perform preventative maintenance, annual checks, and field upgrades.Collaborate with engineering and service leadership to ensure customer needs are met.Deliver technical support and training to end-users, building strong relationships with customers.When not traveling, work out of the Lake Zurich headquarters (after 1 year, 20-30% remote flexibility).Why This Role?Training & Development: Structured 3/6/9/12-month training plan with milestones, shadowing, and increasing responsibility.
