Leaders have the freedom to innovate, improve processes, and directly impact growth.Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.THE JOBThe Operations Manager will lead all aspects of a branch location in Northern California. This role oversees daily operations, staff leadership, safety programs, inventory management, and system adoption. It is an onsite role and reports directly to senior operational leadership.Responsibilities include:Directing daily operations, scheduling, process flow, quality control, and workplace safety.Leading a workforce of 50+ operations employees, with responsibility for recruiting, training, and professional development.Overseeing high-value inventory, ensuring accurate controls, efficiency, and cost optimization.Implementing and optimizing ERP systems and strengthening operational controls.Partnering with Sales and Customer Service to maintain high service levels and on-time fulfillment.Managing budgets, KPIs, and P&L; translating financial insights into operational results.Developing production schedules, workflow policies, and maintenance plans to maximize productivity.Driving process improvement and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development.Target start in the winter or early spring to allow training before the busy building season.THE QUALIFICATIONS5-10+ years in operations management within distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.Minimum of 3 years leading teams of 20+ employees; experience managing 50+ preferred.Strong experience in inventory oversight and financial management.Familiarity with ERP systems (BizTrack or similar) and Microsoft Office.Hands-on leadership style with emphasis on developing and motivating people.Entrepreneurial, resourceful approach suited to a non-corporate, high-growth environment.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Bachelor's degree required; advanced training in operations, supply chain, or Lean/Six Sigma a plus.Candidates must live within a practical commute to the branch location in Northern California.THE BENEFITSIncome: $120,000-$130,000+, with $120,000 as the most likely starting salary.Bonus potential: $5,000-$10,000 annually, tied to performance.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with HSA/FSA options.401(k) with company match.Paid time off, tuition reimbursement, referral incentives, employee discounts, and life insurance.Additional voluntary benefits and employee assistance programs.
