Drug Manufacturing Technician

Location: Gretna, LA Shift: 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM - M-F Description: In this role, the individual will be responsible for removing presumptive positives samples and aliquoting samples for confirmation in accordance with the SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and those of other regulatory organizations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Remove presumptive positives, aliquot for confirmation, arrange aliquots in order Store positive samples in refrigerator/freezer area Remove positives samples from freezer for re-aliquot Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms Destroy specimens; as needed Clean and maintain work area daily Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information Must comply with company policy BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION: High school education or GED preferred
