Field Service Technician

Minimum Age: 18 years old Job Description: As a Field Service Technician with Modular Connections, your role will consist of handling the on-site setup of our buildings on customer jobsites. You will need to have a working knowledge of welding, electrical, finishing construction, and advanced troubleshooting. Responsibilities: • Complete final setup of building on customer jobsites • Re-install HVAC and awning systems • Weld multi-wide buildings, connect electrical systems • Ability with various skills such as: o laying flooring, tiling, finishing interior walls o paint touch up • Clean-up after the building is installed and perform additional tasks as instructed by supervisor to include housekeeping and clean-up Requirements: • High school diploma • Valid Drivers License and ability to pass drug screen and background check • Have a good driving record and have the ability to drive company owned or rented vehicles • Minimum of 2 years welding (MIG and stick) • Minimum 2 years blueprint and electrical experience • Willingness to travel out of town, (state) and be gone overnight, (longer if necessary) • Self-sufficient and self-motivated • Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including but not limited to: o Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching standing, working on knees and lifting 50lbs • Willing to perform all assigned tasks • Reliable and timely transportation • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends
