Duration: 12+ months Location: St Lou is MO 63110 Job Timings: 7:30 am to 4 pm Position Summary: Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment, including fire apparatus, construction, and landscaping machinery. Duties include hydraulic system repairs, welding, small engine work, and performing preventive maintenance inspections. Key Responsibilties: Perform skilled repair and maintenance on a variety of gasoline-powered and diesel equipment and vehicles such as fire apparatus and vehicles, loaders, crane crawlers, dub grinders, bucket trucks, pavers, rollers, sweepers and others used by the city. Repair light and heavy duty vehicles, diesel and air brake systems. Repair and maintain hydraulic systems. Route and replace hydraulic lines; check system for leaks. Operate welding equipment. Repair small engine equipment. Diagnose and repair malfunctions to all systems.
