Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply Now" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per yearA bit about us:We are an industry-leading innovator of stamping equipment and are looking for a Tool Room Manager to join our team.Why join us?Competitive compensationWe have openings on 1st shiftGreat benefits401k MatchPlenty of overtime availableWell-ventilated facilityJob DetailsDuties:Responsible for overseeing a team of around 10 other tool MakersMachines parts to specifications, using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, andgrinders.Set-ups, adjusts and operates basic machine tools as well as specialized, advanced tools to performprecision machining operations.Using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers), measures, examines, and tests completed units tocheck for defects and ensure conformance to specificationsSets controls to regulate machining; enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machinecontrol media.Uses knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machiningprocedures.Calculates dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and instruments such as micrometers andvernier calipers.Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials ontomachines.Selects the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery workInterested in hearing more?
