Additional duties of the position are as follows but not limited:Lead and guide design and construction projects internally within the office and externally with clients and contractors.Provide guidance, support, mentorship, and leadership to staff engineers.Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.Interacting with owners, clients, architects, and contractors as needed with verbal and written communication. Lead and guide meetings as needed.Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks.Confer with other engineers and other personnel to complete project deadlines.Apply knowledge of engineering principles and research, design, and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet project requirements.Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals and requirements.Research and analyze clients design requirements, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents.Desired Experience:8+ years of experience with MEP designBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Architectural EngineeringPE registration is requiredExperience with internal and external project managementExperience in MEP design and specificationsExperience with managing, maintaining and creating Owner and Architect relationshipsExperience with Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12 and Commercial market sectorsExperience with Revit/AutoCADProject, Team and Client ManagementElectrical Engineering Infrastructure DesignConstruction Administration and SubmittalsPower Distribution and Lighting SystemsEnergy SystemsRenewable Energy SystemsAutoCAD & REVITInterested in hearing more?
