CNC Lathe Setup Machinist

*Job Function:*All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Skilled CNC setup machinist responsible for producing close tolerance parts. Must be able to inspect and record in process and first article data.*Job Duties:*Qualified candidate must have positive attitude and be able to work as a team player. Individual will be responsible for the set up and operation of cnc lathes machining plastic and metal parts. Must have the ability to manufacture and inspect parts to within .0005" tolerances. Individual will at times be required to run multiple machines at the same time.*Overall skills needed to be successful:*- Strong CNC machining knowledge 10yrs + experience.- Knowledge of G&M code.- Hands on experience with all required inspection equipment.- Ability to read blue prints, Geometric Tolerance.- Knowledge of tooling required.- Experience with MasterCam programing software preferred.- Ability to work as a team player with multiple departments;Quality, Maintenance, etc.*Qualifications:*- 10 yrs experience with cnc type machines.- Ability to program, set-up and operate cnc lathes.- Good problem-solving skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
