Development Manager

 Cleaning for a Reason is a nonprofit organization providing free home cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. We are seeking a full-time Development Manager to lead the cultivation and stewardship of major donors and corporate sponsors. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-oriented professional who is motivated to grow a high-impact mission through philanthropic partnerships.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCultivate, solicit, and steward major donors contributing $5,000-$100,000+Secure multi-year sponsorships from corporations, associations, and industry partners ($500-$100,000), including:Annual ISSA Show Campaign ($100K target)Giving Tuesday and year-end campaigns (including matching gifts)Design and implement donor engagement strategies tailored by capacity, interest, and giving historyCollaborate with ISSA Marketing and Program staff to highlight donor impact through compelling storytellingPartner with ISSA leadership and ISSA Charities Board on high-level donor engagement opportunitiesCoordinate donor recognition, stewardship touchpoints, and special eventsIdentify foundation and cause-marketing opportunities and support grant proposal developmentQualifications2-5+ years of experience in nonprofit development or fundraisingDemonstrated success managing major gifts and corporate sponsorshipsExceptional communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skillsFamiliarity with donor management systems (e.g., Salesforce, DonorPerfect, Bloomerang)Experience engaging donors across diverse sectors, e.g., healthcare and corporate philanthropyExpected OutcomesGrowth in unrestricted revenue to support program expansionDiversified donor base representing multiple sectorsStrengthened relationships with mission-aligned supporters and partnersWorking ConditionsRemote Work - Full-time, work-from-home position requiring a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspaceCompany-Provided Equipment - A laptop is provided for work-related tasksFlexible Workload - While standard hours apply, some flexibility may be needed based on workload and deadlinesVirtual Collaboration - Regular communication with team members and departments via email, phone, video conferencingTravel - This position requires minimal travel expectationsHit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.Salary range is $55,000-$65,000 but may vary based on experience.Compensation details: 55000-65000 Yearly SalaryPIc4b03b05e911-37344-38360842
