Job Title: Financial Services Risk ManagerWe are seeking a skilled Financial Services Risk Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in finance and risk management.If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit risk by reviewing and properly weighing all aspects of more complex applications. They will also work closely with underwriters and loan originators to ensure that loans are structured and discussed in a way that maximizes the best possible outcome for both parties.They will analyze business history, financials, and loan collateral to make informed decisions about loan approvals.They will maintain loan relationships with customers by structuring and discussing recommended best loan plans.They will monitor department portfolios to ensure that all financials are up to date and that the portfolio is performing as expected.They will review loan inquiries and respond to client requests when necessary.They will stay on top of past due reports and notes coming due to ensure timely payment.Requirements:To perform this job successfully, you must have the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or equivalent field.9+ Years of financial analysis, structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management experience.Experience with Auto Syndications is preferred.Key Skills:The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to responding promptly to customer needs.Extensive decision-making and analytical skills to evaluate information, determine risks, and consider benefits.Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond well to questions and present confidently in group settings.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Detailed orientation and a categorical understanding of the lending process.Ability to prepare findings reports and handle multiple files simultaneously.Leadership skills, with the ability to provide positive contributions to the team and mentor less experienced colleagues.Takes initiative on projects and assignments, seeking alternate solutions when necessary.Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Benefits:We offer a competitive base pay range of $82,500 - $145,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.Additionally, we foster a culture of engagement and support, where continuous learning and development are prioritized, enabling you to thrive both professionally and personally.What Else You Need To Know:This role requires frequent minimal physical effort, such as sitting, standing, and walking, but occasional moving and lifting light equipment and/or furniture may be required depending on location.
