The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in supporting the finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to financial planning and analysis efforts. This role will work closely with the Controller and executive leadership to uphold strong financial controls and support the company's rapid growth trajectory.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsSupport financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesAssist in managing general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliationsEnsure compliance with internal policies, GAAP standards, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and filingsProvide insights through financial analysis to support strategic decision-makingHelp implement and improve accounting systems and processesMaintain documentation for internal controls and financial proceduresQualifications:Strong knowledge of financial reporting and GAAPExperience preparing and analyzing financial statementsDemonstrated skills in financial planning and financial analysisExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)CPA or CFA certification (required)Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)Experience in real estate or investment management environments (preferred)Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems; tech-savvy a plusInterested in hearing more?
