This role demands an expert with a robust background in diesel mechanics, equipped to manage complex system repairs and lead initiatives to improve fleet performance.Key Responsibilities:Conduct detailed diagnostics to accurately identify issues and determine necessary repairs in diesel engines and associated systems Execute complex repairs on engines, transmissions, differentials, and other critical components to ensure optimal performance and longevity Implement scheduled and preventive maintenance procedures that align with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practicesCompleting oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checksManage the complete overhaul and rebuilding of older or severely damaged diesel enginesDesign and oversee the installation of engine modifications and upgrades to enhance efficiency and performance Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all maintenance and repair work, utilizing fleet management software to track and schedule necessary servicesEnsure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures in the workplaceCollaborate with fleet managers to analyze operational issues and propose solutions that decrease downtime and reduce costsStay updated with the latest technologies and techniques in diesel engine management and repair, attending workshops and obtaining certifications as requiredBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hours shift 3-11PM Monday to FridayOvertime as neededEqual Opportunity EmployerCPDI is an equal opportunity employer.
