General Operations Supervisor

Description:Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.The General Operations Supervisor oversees the daily activities of multiple operational units/areas. Monitors and assists staff to maintain workflow and achieve targeted operational and financial results.  Implements practices to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures. Resolves routine operational issues and escalates complex issues as needed. Coordinates activities with Production / Warehouse supervisors and other support organizations of moderate complexity projects and issues. Provides input to decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Typically requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.Job Responsibilities/Tasks:Oversees efficiency of operational processes.Monitor and report on area(s) performance.Ability to analyze safety, quality and productivity issues and take corrective measures.Provide administrative support (eg. Updating inventory).Learn the setup of various manufacturing lines.Promptly and accurately completes all communications.Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized facility with support Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Material control resources.Ability to multi-task while dealing with multiple, competing priorities.Co-ordinate preventive and break down maintenance on equipment.Support contractor management of facility improvements.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques.Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues.Resolves issues and disputes between internal teams.Creates and maintains operational schedules.Evaluates the condition of facility equipment and safety of all facility areas inside and outside.Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers.Support in the training, documentation and implementation of our quality programs in the support our of ISO 9001 procedures and policies. Not limited to CCI quality standards and practices, site audits and annual calibrations. In addition to maintaining our ESD standards, practices and monitoring/adherence.Complies with all guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of the Company's Information Assets, Security and Systems and that of its clients.Other duties as assigned by COO.Requirements:Three (3) or more years' of experience as an Operations Supervisor or related rolePrevious manufacturing experience with servers and system integration preferredExperience working with production/warehouse teams.Excellent coaching and communication skillsLean Manufacturing or other comparable Improvement Quality experienceBroad knowledge of production planning and warehousing processes·Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced settingOSHA Safety and Health knowledge 100% Onsite roleSome flexibility work hour for fast growing expansionPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms while taking and hearingFrequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance of othersSpecific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusSupervisory responsibilitiesIndirect supervisory roleWork environmentProduction/Warehouse EnvironmentTravel Potential for minor travelPM22PI3705a4d68df7-37344-38640310
