The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, independent and demonstrate relationship management skills. This person takes ownership of processes and finds workable solutions for challenging problems. If you are motivated by hard work and inspired by the resulting successful outcome, read on!Duties & ResponsibilitiesEfficiently and effectively manage day-to-day aspects of projects from start to finishEstablish, maintain, monitor and execute project milestones on-time and within budgetMonitor and manage resource allocation across various projects, navigating shared resource constraintsReview quality of work completed by the Design and Engineering team to ensure project standards are being metEngage and manage third party resources as needed to support project objectivesGuide, mentor and coach project engineers for the overall success of the project as well as their individual professional developmentDevelop and review engineering drawings and specifications for prefabricated productsProvide guidance and direction for the procurement of specialized equipment and materials Self-direct--complete daily tasks and set and achieve long range goalsParticipate in a team environment--communicate and coordinate with supervisors and management as required to gather information and documentation and respond timely to requests for informationSupport company initiatives, such as implementing company policies, procedures and processes Produce quality documentation in a thorough, professional and timely mannerPlan for project timelines using calendars, schedules and project management toolsMaintain electronic and hard copy files in a neat and orderly mannerRequirements:RequirementsThree plus years as a Project Manager with experience in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, or a construction industry related field Bachelor's degree ORAt least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:At least 1 year project/program management work experienceAt least 3 years work experience directly related to the duties of the jobANDFluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skillsAdept at learning new technologies and techniquesUS Citizen Preferred/Desired QualificationsExperience using 3D software such as SolidWorks, AutoCADExperience using ProcoreExperience in technical and proposal writingExperience working on government contractsProject Manager experience with structural steel and industrial fabricationExpectationsPerform other responsibilities or assist other team members, when neededWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and as allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and proceduresUnderstand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assetsPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position requires moderate physical activity, primarily in an office environment but may include visits to the manufacturing facilities or jobsites to collaborate and inspect materials.  To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly seated at a computer desk with the option to stand, is utilizing the telephone frequently, and participating in meetings with colleagues, clients, third party vendors, etc. There are stairs in the office.
