Growing company Position is open due to internal promotion Friendly environment, family-owned business Great work life balance Excellent Benefits Employee engagement events Work from home flexibility Hybrid work setting, target salary range 55k-60k plus bonus based off experience Top Responsibilities: Accounting Specialist Assist with the raising of invoices and booking of revenue in the accounting system Generate production reports summarizing & analyzing monthly premiums and commissions Receipt funds as they come into the bank accounts and help identify solutions to unidentified amounts Support the wider team in monitoring and resolving aged receivables Assist with the setup and verification of payments of premiums to insurance carriers, commissions to brokers and legal fees to counsel Handle treasury operations to include setting up treasury transactions with banking partners, monitoring cash accounts and reporting to senior finance team members, and bank reconciliations for bank fees Experience Required: Accounting Specialist Bs in Accounting 1+ years of experience Excel, Word, and Outlook - intermediate level
