Perform material takeoffs and prepare complete mechanical bids including labor, materials, and other costs. Design and identify resources for installation, retrofit, and repair projects. Coordinate with purchasing, vendors, and subcontractors to compile accurate cost estimates. Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals. What We're Looking for in an Estimator: High School Diploma 3-5 years of mechanical estimating or installation experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including heating, cooling, air distribution, building automation, and refrigeration. Familiarity with CAD and BIM systems.
