Since 1970, we've been delivering world-class comfort solutions throughout Colorado, and we're proud of our reputation for technical expertise, customer care, and employee growth.If you're looking to work for a company that invests in its people, serves a loyal and growing client base, and gives you the opportunity to work on diverse systems in one of Colorado's most beautiful mountain communities "” this is the place for you!*What You'll Do** Provide *preventive maintenance* on heating and cooling systems.* *Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair* a variety of residential and commercial HVAC systems.* Replace defective components and adjust controls for maximum performance.* Install HVAC equipment, including *refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, humidity control, and pneumatic/DDC control systems*.* Work with:* Rooftop Units* Air Handling Units* Hydronic (wet) systems* Cooling Towers* VAV Boxes* Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)* Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and delivering top-quality service.*What We're Looking For** *3+ years of HVAC experience* (service or install).* Knowledge of HVAC theory, practices, tools, and equipment.* *Universal EPA certification* required.* Strong understanding of refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic/DDC control, and air conditioning systems.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.* Must supply own basic hand tools.* Physically capable of lifting/moving heavy equipment, bending, standing, and working in varying environments.*Preferred (but not required):** Trade school education.* Journeyman license.* Chiller experience.* Sheet metal experience* Hydronic experinece*Why Join Major Heating and AC?*At Major, we don't just hire technicians "” we invest in *careers*.
