Youll work in a well-equipped shop with access to OEM parts and a connected collision center.From the electric Nissan Leaf to the rugged Frontier and family-friendly Rogue, youll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of models and technologies.As part of the Deacon Jones Auto Group, we offer long-term career potential, training opportunities, and a stable work environment rooted in decades of community trust.We actively seek feedback and continuously improve, creating a workplace that values communication, professionalism, and pride in workmanship.Whether you're diagnosing drivability issues or performing precision repairs, your expertise directly impacts customer safety and satisfaction.We offer:Up to $45 per hour based on experienceTraining payMedical, dental and hospital insuranceMatching 401(k) savings planPaid vacation up to 3 weeksOpportunities for advancement5-day work weekLow cost of livingResponsibilities - Service Technician:Quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and service, and identify the cause of defects, and trouble-shoot and repair them using the most optimal solutions and efficiency.Confer with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discuss work to be performed.Make sure to completely notate repairs and concerns though ADP/CDKTest and adjust required systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.Ensure that the shop is in excellent condition with regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conduct periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service.Test-drive vehicles; testing components and systems; using equipment such as infrared engine analyzer, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.Qualifications - Service Technician:Nissan certification preferred we will pay for certificationAt least two years of experience as an Automotive Service TechnicianASE certification preferred but not required Understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations, but also to comply with these regulations as well as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations and provide necessary training on these regulations and ethical practices.Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to achieve goals.Must hold a valid driver's license.Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.Computer skills.Must supply own tools (special/job-specific tools and equipment provided by dealership)Please upload your pleting the online assessment will grant you priority consideration!Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants are considered regardless of ethnicity, nationality, gender, veteran or disability status, religion, age, gender orientation or other protected status.RequiredPreferredJob IndustriesCustomer Service
