We are currently seeking a Experienced Team Lead Utility Operator to join our team.Job Summary Team Lead   As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Essential Duties Team LeadLead and support Operators-Serve as a technical resource and team leader, providing guidance and support to machine operators.Train and Develop Team Members- partner with the VSM to train and mentor less experienced operators, fostering growth and skill development.Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: Complete work order documentation, inspect tools for safety, and uphold high standard for quality, efficiency and productivity.Promote Company culture and continuous improvement:  model ethical behavior aligned with The Gund Company's values and suggest improvements to enhance production and order processing Requirements:Qualifications Team LeadRequired  A technical degree and 5+ years of experience preferred, or a combination of experience and education will be considered.Prior experience in a manufacturing industry.Intermediate math skills & aptitude.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to understand drawing and blueprints.Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively.Must be able to work overtime as needed.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred - ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team is a plus. Work Environment Team Lead This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and chemicals.Personal protective equipment (PPE) is requiredThis position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods of time.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform manual tasks as required. BenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysComprehensive benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability).401(k) plan with a 50% employer match. Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).Ongoing training and development programs.Join a company that values your contribution and invests in your future.
