Provide input for work instructions and procedures for electronics soldering, assembly and testing..2. Review and interpret complex technical schematics, ensuring accuracy during the build, assembly and testing phases.3. Perform complex soldering and rework4. Familiarity with reading electrical and RF schematics.5. Perform integration of electronic components in support of rapid prototyping requirementsQualifications:1. Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician2. J-STD soldering certification is required3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings4. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plusONResponsible for assisting and generating technical, manufacturing and assembly drawings, as well asdigital models, based on initial drawings, 3D models and or marked up documentation from theEngineering group. Provide documentation support to the Engineering group, as needed, to meetdeadlines. Has hands-on experience using Solidworks for implementing formal design documentation ofmechanical designs.REQUIRED SKILLSExperience in generating BOM's based from 3D assemblies.Drafting experience with 3D development software (Solidworks).Strong understanding and knowledge of GD&T.Strong understanding of how to produce customer and manufacturing level drawings.Ability to follow and adhere to standardized methods utilized by IDT.Familiarity with Engineering Change Order process.Multitasking skills to manage multiple requests and various project activities.Good presentation and communication skills to interact with multiple departments.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDEDGenerate Product documentation as listed above and as required.Make changes to existing drawings and BOMs in response to approved ECR/ECO's.Work with Engineering and Document control to close ECOsDocument and organize legacy products to bring documentation current.Respond to customer / vendor inquiries for product details that are not part of currentdocumentation.Assist Marketing with models for content on website, catalogs, etc.Interested in hearing more?
