Technical Talent Acquisition SpecialistApply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application.Contract Duration: Through December 31, 2025, with high likelihood of extensionLocation: Flexible within Michigan (Grand Rapids, Livonia, Traverse City, Holland)Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote Wednesday and Friday)About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing recruiting needs due to recent organizational changes and increased requisitions.This is a contract position designed to fill a critical short-term gap on our talent acquisition team, with a focus on recruiting for technical roles across multiple disciplines.Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle recruiting for 15-20 active requisitions simultaneously, primarily for permanent, direct-hire technical positions.Recruit for a variety of technical roles, including: Engineering positions (electrical, mechanical, industrial, etc.)Field technician roles related to electrical distribution systemsIT roles such as software engineersSupport intern recruiting efforts for Summer 2026 by screening resumes and making intern offers; career fair attendance is not required.Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, conducting talent strategy calls to define job requirements, candidate profiles, and recruitment strategy.Coordinate ongoing communication with hiring managers, including check-ins at key stages (e.g., midway through job postings and during onboarding).Use internal applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors / Workforce Connect) and manage job postings on company career pages, LinkedIn, and other job boards as necessary.Utilize existing job descriptions stored in the JDMS system and collaborate with hiring managers to customize language as needed without altering core job requirements.Ensure candidates are processed through the interview and offer stages, supporting hiring managers with interview panels and decision documentation.Assist with onboarding coordination in partnership with HR and hiring managers.Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with technical roles.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; candidates with an Associate's degree plus 4+ years' experience or a high school diploma plus 6+ years' experience will also be considered.Familiarity and comfort using applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors/Workforce Connect) and LinkedIn recruiting tools.Ability to manage multiple requisitions efficiently with strong organizational skills.Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with hiring managers and candidates.Experience recruiting for engineering, technical, or IT roles is highly desirable.Open to candidates with diverse recruitment backgrounds, including those with short-term contract experience.Additional Information: Interviews will be primarily conducted virtually via Teams, with some onsite interviews arranged by hiring managers as needed (e.g., for plant or field roles).The Talent Acquisition Specialist will not be responsible for assembling interview panels or scheduling interviews; these responsibilities lie with the hiring managers and intern councils.This position may extend beyond the initial contract term, pending organizational approval.
