Title: Drug Manufacturing TechnicianThe full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Location: Gretna, LAShift: 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM - M-FDescription:In this role, the individual will be responsible for removing presumptivepositives samples and aliquoting samples for confirmation in accordance with the SAMHSAmandatory guidelines and those of other regulatory organizations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Remove presumptive positives, aliquot for confirmation, arrange aliquots in orderStore positive samples in refrigerator/freezer areaRemove positives samples from freezer for re-aliquotReceive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysisReview and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody formsDestroy specimens; as neededClean and maintain work area dailyAdhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor informationMust comply with company policyBASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:High school education or GED preferred
