This permanent role is an opportunity for a driven and knowledgeable professional to handle complex commercial real estate matters. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of land use. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of real estate matters.Why join us?1. Provide legal counsel on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.2. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate agreements and contracts.3. Advise on land use, zoning, and environmental compliance matters.4. Conduct legal research and due diligence on commercial real estate projects.5. Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.6. Act as a liaison between the organization and external legal counsel, as necessary.7. Keep abreast of current legislation, court decisions, and other developments that may affect the organization's real estate operations.8. Perform risk management analysis for real estate transactions and advise stakeholders accordingly.9. Provide training to team members on legal matters related to commercial real estate.Job DetailsQualifications:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a particular focus on land use.4. Proven track record of handling complex commercial real estate transactions.5. Extensive knowledge of real estate law, including land use and zoning regulations.6. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and verbal/written communication skills.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.9.
