This role offers genuine ownership over cases, from intake through resolution, with exposure to a broad spectrum of claims and accountability for guiding strategy.Responsibilities:• Manage insurance defense cases end-to-end, from inception through resolution• Perform deep legal research and provide analysis to inform case strategy• Draft, review, and handle pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings• Lead discovery efforts: taking and defending depositions, managing discovery responses• Handle slip & fall and commercial auto accident matters (and related claims)• Liaise and coordinate with clients, internal teams, opposing counsel, vendors• Monitor changes in insurance defense law and ensure compliance• Advise clients on insurance claims and related legal exposureQualifications:• J.D. from an accredited law school• Current, good-standing membership in the California Bar• 3+ years' experience in insurance defense litigation• Demonstrated success in legal research, civil litigation, drafting, and case management• Prior experience with slip & fall and commercial auto accident cases• In-depth knowledge of insurance law and regulation• Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and communication skills• Ability to manage several matters simultaneously under tight deadlines• High ethical standards, strong integrity, attention to detailInterested in hearing more?
