The successful candidate will be an integral part of our firm, working directly with partners and clients in our high-profile cases. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court.Why join us?Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload, including both civil and criminal cases.Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.Draft, review, and edit a wide variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.Represent clients in court, presenting arguments and evidence in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, working to achieve the most favorable outcome possible.Collaborate closely with partners, paralegals, and other team members to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.Job DetailsQualifications:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Virginia Bar and in good standing.A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a law firm setting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present arguments and explain complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.High attention to detail and accuracy in work, with strong organizational and time management skills.Interested in hearing more?
