Must be local to Southern California. We are hiring a Project Accountant/Property Accountant for a temporary role supporting accounting functions tied to power plant projects"”new builds, retrofits, and updates. Key Responsibilities:Review and verify the completeness of job closing packagesAnalyze project costs and budgets to ensure accuracy and proper documentationTrack and process fixed asset activity, including additions and retirementsInterpret as-built drawings to identify installed and retired utility facilitiesPrepare cost summaries and journal entries to finalize closed work ordersGenerate final cost statements for completed projectsProcess CIAC (Contributions in Aid of Construction) with correct asset values and cost of removalRun various queries and support special projects and account analysis Requirements:2+ years of experience in project administration, project accounting, or related roleBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, not requiredGeneral accounting background, especially in fixed assetsStrong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)Experience with large ERP systems (SAP preferred)Ability to read technical construction documents and drawingsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skillsConstruction industry is a plusPandoLogic.
