In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Industrial Automation Field Service Technician to join our Rexel team in Alexandria, LA!Summary:The Senior Industrial Automation Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site services that support process and discrete manufactures operations. Specifically, services related to evaluating customer's installed Rockwell Automation hardware, software, and networked equipment. Supporting customer's systems needs including trouble shooting and system modernization. Will provide support for customers in various ways including programming, drive startups, and reliability improvement. Supporting products that are deployed or designed in Rockwell software platforms such as RsLogix 5, 500, 5000, Studio 5000, or FactoryTalk applications.What You'll Do:Execute documented procedures on-site at customer facilitiesPerform onsite collection of current installed base through site walk-through and use of data collection tools in an industrial manufacturing environmentDemonstrate core competency around troubleshooting Rockwell Automation products and associated manufacturing technologyCommunicate needs and issues with management to avoid problems before they ariseManage time in such a way that scheduling issues do not ariseWork positively in a team-based environment that is in continuous movementAct as representative of Rexel while performing services on customers equipment and applicationsDevelop relationships with key customer stakeholdersPresent findings to technical and non-technical audiencesArticulate the value of services offerings to customers during the lifecycle of the engagementWork with customers to determine customer problems, needs, and goals there by identifying opportunities for product and services that may be outside of the scope of your original engagementDocument work activities in appropriate, professional report formatAssist in the clarification and resolution of customer issuesMentor, train, and coach other Field Service Technicians.
