This technology is at the forefront of military defense, detecting enemy artillery and mortar rounds to protect our nation.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair complex radar systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance levels.Inspect and test system components and equipment to identify areas for improvement or repair.Adjust and calibrate radar systems to optimize detection capabilities.Required Skills and QualificationsU.S. Citizenship: A valid U.S. passport and citizenship are required for this position.Age: Candidates must be between 17 and 34 years old.Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is necessary.Tattoo Guidelines: Must meet specific guidelines for tattoos.Law Violations: No major law violations are allowed.Medical Concerns: Must not have any medical concerns that could impact job performance.Testing & Certifications36 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available: Obtain certifications in various fields related to electronics and repair.Basic Training: Complete 10 weeks of initial training.Advanced Individual Training: Attend 37 weeks of specialized training.ASVAB Score: Achieve a score of 107 in Electronics (EL), 102 in Electronics (EL), or 90 in Skilled Technical (ST).Skills You'll LearnRadar and Computer Electronics: Develop expertise in radar systems and computer electronics.Maintenance and Repairs: Acquire skills in maintenance and repairs of complex systems.
